News from Nyenrode Business Universiteit

This week was a week of important new facts.

First it is now official: Nyenrode is not only the oldest and largest but also the best business graduate institution in the Netherlands! At least, that's what the Dutch students and education experts are telling in the Keuzegids Masters 2010. It is the kind of compliment Nyenrode gladly accepts, in all modesty of course.

Another important news fact: on Wednesday this week Nyenrode has signed a contract with INHolland for buying back their Nyenrode shares. The positive result of this is that Nyenrode is fully in charge again of their own destiny and that can simplify the governance structure.

Renovations at the Nyenrode Castle

In december 2009 the renovation of the Caste was started. The inside part is now almost done. The renovations on the outside are next. They include the construction of new walls for the foundations of the Castle. It is unclear when the total renovation will be completed, as it is not entirely predicatable what will be found under such an old historic building. We have to keep in mind that during all activities it needs to be taken into account that the "Grey old Lady" will reveal her secrets only gradually.   SAVE THE DATE: March 30, RVA meeting at Nyenrode.
